About Sarah Armstrong

I’ve spent my career helping people make wise decisions in high-stakes moments.

My background

My Change Strategy clients benefit from my combination of clinical steadiness, legal clarity, and strategic foresight.

As a former critical care nurse and healthcare attorney, I’ve been trusted to lead in environments where clarity, composure, and sound judgment are essential.

How I help clients

I offer clients a three stage, reflective process designed to help them reclaim their time, energy, and direction—without risking all they’ve built.

I’m not offering therapy or generic coaching. I guide clients through the complexity of what they’re experiencing—when the stakes are high, and the way forward isn’t obvious.

My vision

A world where people consciously and compassionately use their whole selves—not just their narrowly curated public selves—to address the challenges of our world.

My mission

To guide each client through a tailored process that empowers them to navigate life transitions with clarity and self-trust—so they can live as the fullest, truest version of themselves and contribute to a more conscious, compassionate world.

My Core Values

Respect
I honor each client as a whole person—with real strengths, hard-won wisdom, and the ability to choose their own future.

Kindness
My compassion is rooted in deep appreciation for what clients have faced—and are still facing—as they navigate change.

Curiosity
I bring an open mind that encourages clients to imagine new possibilities and expand what they believe is possible for themselves.

Patience
I support clients with steady presence as they explore, choose, and grow—especially through challenges and uncertainty.

Wisdom
I offer timely, thoughtful input that empowers clients to act in their best interests and build lives that reflect who they are becoming.

Acknowledgement

With deep respect, I acknowledge my training with the Life Balance Institute in Northern California. The Institute gave me the wisdom to knit together the many strands of knowledge I gathered over a lifetime of work and service. I have been a critical care nurse at the bedside of the mortally ill, a nurse researcher, a healthcare lawyer, a conflict resolution mediator, and a mother and partner devoted to raising a family. I also lived what I advocated—committed to mindfulness, exercise, nourishment, and practices that sustain long-term well-being.

Through the Life Balance Institute, I learned how to bring these seemingly disparate experiences into coherence. That integration became the foundation of my work with professionals whose lives have been upended by change—helping them regain clarity, stability, and a sense of self-determination in the midst of upheaval.
